We have done this for two clients. One is a Motorsport PR agency and the other is a prestigious classic car dealership, both located in London.

Both of these companies had multiple reasons for the move to Mac:

• Perceived reliability – seeing other Mac users use their machines for years without any significant trouble
• Industry compatibility – journalism and design industries are heavily populated with Mac users
• Mobile device interoperability – iPhones share data more seamlessly with a Mac than a Windows machine
• Aesthetics – an office full of Macs projects a consistent, high-class image

Time was spent researching the desktop applications that each of these companies relied upon in their day-to-day work and their respective availability within MacOS. In one case, we needed to supply and configure VMWare Fusion to run Windows as a virtual machine within MacOS so that particular Windows applications could still be used after the switch.

Years after the switch, both companies say that it has made a positive difference to the way that technology works for them rather than them feeling constrained by technology.
